We don’t watch the clock during our session, especially with kids, as often times they need to warm up. Think of our session together as a slow, steady hang. They lead, I follow, you play.
Full online, digital gallery with unlimited downloads. No need to pick favorites, they can all be your favorites!

Maternity sessions can be done alone, with a partner, or with your other children, the choice is completely yours! The point of these sessions is to celebrate YOU and the amazing, beautiful thing your body is creating. This is not just a celebration of new life, it is a celebration of YOU. The perfect choice for the homebody families. Stay home and bake some cookies, play some board games, read some books and let me capture little moments that can feel like everyday, but that you never want to forget. This is also perfect for families with new little ones who aren’t looking for a traditional “baby in a basket” newborn sessions. Hang out in the comfort of your own home, stay relaxed with your little family and let me be there to document these early days together.

The perfect photo isn’t the one where everyone is looking at the camera with posed smiles; it’s found in the tangle of arms, laughter, and the joyful, beautiful messiness of real life and love.
To put you at ease and document your family in the most honest way, I let my sessions flow organically, always being led by the baby or children.
At times, I’ll offer gentle guidance to ensure everyone is in the best light and feeling relaxed, but I also allow plenty of room for you to be yourselves. This balance creates the space for natural, meaningful moments to unfold - and that’s where I find the magic. -
Please don’t worry if you, your partner, or your children feel camera shy or a bit intimidated by the idea of a ‘photo shoot.’ That’s perfectly natural! I feel the same way for my own family sessions.
Before we even get started, I’ll spend some time getting to know you all, so it feels more like a fun hangout with a friend than a formal session. You won’t need to look at the camera if you don’t want to. My goal is to capture genuine moments, so just enjoy yourselves, and I’ll capture all the magic as it happens. -
Your session will take place in a location where your family feels truly at ease, whether that’s in your home or a favorite outdoor spot. I’ve photographed families in local parks, the countryside, by lakes or creeks, and even in busy city settings like Philadelphia.

The photographs in your gallery will be a mix of color and black and white depending on what works best for each particular shot.

If your home isn’t magazine-ready, don’t let that stop you from having an in-home session! Over the past decade, I’ve photographed families in all kinds of homes—from cozy apartments to larger spaces, and with every style of decor. I’m skilled at capturing beautiful stories in any setting and lighting because I believe there’s beauty and light everywhere, if you know where to look. Your home is a place of comfort and the heart of your children’s memories, making it the perfect backdrop for your family photos.

The most important suggestion I give families, is wear what feels like you!
I do suggest considering the colors your family wears and how they’ll look with the backgrounds we choose. A simple tip is to coordinate rather than match. For young babies, simple outfits work best, while toddlers and older kids can enjoy layers and accessories like hats.

In the lead up to your shoot I will keep a close eye on the weather forecast. If it looks to be wet we have a couple of options...
Make a feature of it - think rain boots and jumping in puddles!
Re-schedule. Sometimes the wether is just not the vibe you envisioned and that’s ok! These re your family photos and I want them to be something you love looking back at. If you really want shots outside, but the weather is very bad, I am more than happy to re-schedule for another date (please note this is subject to my availability and you may have to wait a few weeks.)
Lastly, if you planned on a sunny, golden hour session and the day turns out to be grey and cloudy, just keep in mind that overcast skies produce beautiful soft light which is very flattering — so no matter what the weather is like, we always make the very best of it. -
Absolutely, your child’s health is most important! It’s also best when your baby or child is at their best in order to capture happy and joyful images.
I am happy to offer one re-schedule free of charge due to illness. Please note that further re-schedules are subject to a re-booking fee (50% of the original session fee).
